Plan your team’s work and set reminders directly in SeedSoft
As our clients started to increasingly rely on SeedSoft for their daily work, they felt the need to keep track and get reminded of ‘to-dos’. We delivered on this need by introducing the tasks module — a simple way to manage your tasks or assign them to others.
As usual in SeedSoft the tasks can be linked to other functions — for instance, you can create a task “Visit a trial during harvest” and link it to the correct trial. Or you can link a task to a supplier “Send product demand forecast”.
You’ll get reminders about the tasks in the mobile and the web app. In the near future, we’ll enable the delivery of a daily email with your tasks due ‘today’.

Create a task while you’re in a trial, variety or organization details
In addition to connecting a task to a specific trial, variety, or organization, you can also create a task directly from each one’s details page, through the last tab “tasks”. This way, you’ll never miss a task, even while working on something else within a module.

Tasks are also available in the mobile app, where you can add tasks and connect them to a specific variety or trial.
New Top Bar: Adding varieties to catalogue and Notifications
In the new top bar design of the web app, you can now easily add varieties to a catalog from anywhere in the system. Notifications have also been added to inform you when you have a new task or when a task’s due date/time is approaching.
